Recently redid kitchen but did not replace cabinets (alot of them) golden oak (natural that has honeyed) ge monogram stainless appliances and black galaxy granite> Want to put in hardwood for entry/dining/kitchen. Large airy spaces, tall ceilings, tall windows, but not bright due to window side backs up to tall trees...

looking for flooring that will add some wow and take away a bit from all the oak cabinets and trim and stair bannisters. Looked at braz cherry (think it will be too dark given not a ton of natural light), liked amendoim but not sure right choice... handscraped hickory??? brazillian teak??? going crazy (I couldn't match a shirt and pants if they were both blue). This is a higer end home... need a floor that will add some value and add to the aesthetic.

Suggestions very much welcome. Pics even better if you have a suggestion.
