Hello,

I am installing 2 electric baseboard heaters in my cabin. They are going in the bedrooms. They are 240V, 1000 watt, and the box says they draw 4.2 amps. My questions are what gauge wire to use and what size breaker to use? I was going to use 12-2 (as no neutral is needed) and a double pole 15 amp breaker. Is that correct?

That should work. Be sure to label so that nobody comes in after you and tries to use it for 110.
