| I am replacing a baseboard heater and purchased a 120v unit. The wiring from the wall is (2) 120v lines tied together. Do I need a 240v heater or can I use the 120v that I purchased? |

the "2 120 volt lines" are probably circuited to make one 240 volt line to feed the old heater. You will have to reconfigure to make the new heater work. Make sure all circuit sizing is appropriate so as not to overload the wiring.

Thank you. I decided to return the 120v unit and replace it with a 240v. It is working fine.
