I have a problem with the water supply from my mixer tap in my kitchen
Particularly the cold water. The water pressure seems to be fine. As the flow from my bathroom taps is ok. Also the supply to the kitchen taps seems to be
ok. I removed the "Swan neck from the mixer taps & soaked it in lime scale remover thinking that lime scale could be causing a blockage but this did not make any difference to the flow from the taps. Could anything else be causing the reduced flow or be restricting the water? When i removed the swan neck & carefully turned on the tap both pressure & flow seemed to be fine out of the tap body.

Is there an aerator type filter on the end of the spout that unscrews.

No there is nothing attached to the end of the tap. The interior of the swan neck appears to be divided in to two separate parts one for cold water & one for the hot water.

Yes the CE taps are made that way, so the water mixes in atmosphere and not the body, e.g. cheep european things.

can you post a pic of the spout please

Problem solved futher investigation revealed the outer rim of an old tap washer compressed against the outer body wall of the tap restricting the the flow.
