I have an outside light which switches on from inside the house. Would it be ok to run another light from the same wiring? I was thinking to tap from the existing outdoor light socket and running the wiring to a 2nd outdoor light socket. Is this a safe way to do this?

What type of light are they and what are their loadings/watts ?

Damn I just know I wont answer this correctly as its a holiday home abroad and not there at the moment.
It is a 250V system and as far as I can remember they are those low power type long life bulbs that give say 60W but run at 30W. It is not the halogen super bright things just normal household light bulbs.
Sorry I cant be more specific on this. (well not until after May)
The picture below might help, I would like to take power from this so that 2 lights come on rather than just the one you see here. the other one would be at the back of the house so would require approx 20 feet of cable if run from the existing light.
