Hi there, i have two small lamps on my fireplace, both with about 25w bulbs. Can i wire both lamps into on plug, as i only have one socket close to them. Neiher of the lamps came earthed. Would rather not have an adpater.

No problem as long as the fuse is no higher than 3 amp.
