do you save more money on electric bills or oil by burning firewood in the fireplace for heat than an electrical wall heater or oil furnace?

If you are using less electric, then you save on your bill... it would depend on the conditions of your question... is there a heat blower fan on your fireplace, do you use any other device in tandem with it, the loads used determine the amount of your bill. Typically electric wall heaters pull a lot of electricity and you would be buying oil and paying for the electricity of the blower motor to distribute the heat around your house on an oil furnace.
