Hi,
this probably sounds quite unusual, so I will just start off. I am an art student who needs electrical for a project. I want to connect a motion sensor to a light source such as leds or any other smaller battery powered light source. The problems being that I have limited space so that the has to read only about 5 or so feet any more would compromise one of the other sensors. I need to be able to walk up to an object and when I get close, it illuminates, but when I back a few feet away from it, it shuts off. I need a few indipendent units constructed like this so as you walk along side them they light up, and as you pass they dim. Another problem is that I need them to automaticly dim on and off, not a sharp click on and off. I know this all sounds very vague, but I was wondering if you had any suggestions off supplies like the sensor type, best lights, swithches etc.....or procedure/ books please let me know.
thanks for all your help
~Matt~
