Hi,

Sis650 is the name of the chip on your computers motherboard that handles the graphics, you will not need to get another graphics card of the SIS type.

What you will need to know about your computer is what type of graphics card slot it has on it? The choices if you computer is less than 4 years old is either AGP or PCI-E? - if it is older, then it may be PCI (without the -E).

If you can tell me what motherboard your computer has, or the make and model of computer if you bought it from Dell or similar, then I will be able to tell you what type of graphics card you will need to purchase.

Cheers

Nick

Hi,

I have only just noticed you had an issue with mail in another question and you specified you had Windows Vista, is this a very recent install? have you upgraded it from XP? if so, the reason you are having problems is because there doesn't appear to be a 100% compatible Vista driver for it. If you *are* running Vista, then you will need to buy a graphics card that fully supports Vista, a graphics card of this sort will definately support The Sims 2 Seasons.

If this is your motherboard http://www.giga-byte.co.uk/Products/Motherboard/Products_Spec.aspx?ClassValue=Motherboard&ProductID=2303&ProductName=GA-8SIMLH
then you will need to purchase an AGP (2x or 4x speed) graphics card.

The Eletronics Arts site lists The Sims 2 Seasons graphics card requirements here --> http://thesims2.ea.com/help/detail.php?help_id=280

This is the minimum nVidia graphics card you would need to work with Vista and The Sims 2 Seasons --> http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=498828

I couldn't recommend a budget ATI graphics card to work with Vista and your game.

This card --> http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=498828 would be satisfactory and at £25.84 inc VAT it is a bargain.
