does anyone have a tried and tested method of these?
its a simple enough cooking method but i can never get them right and the whites just disperse into the water. Ive tried spinning the water in the pan and adding white wine vinegar and no difference. |

Crack the egg in a foil cake cup, stand in pan and add water so its about 15mm short of the top of the cup, simmer away so the water doesn't get into the cup.
Add a small knob of butter to the cup if you like. |

| add a teaspoon of vinegar to the water, and swirl the (simmering) water round very fast, then drop in the raw egg, and it should remain together. Use really fresh eggs for best results. |
