Hi Dai Smile

It is possible to reduce the size of your existing partition and create 1 or more extra partitions without having to reinstall your operating system but only with the help of software designed to perform that task, of which Partition Magic is an excellent example and my personal favourite but a little bit expensive if that is your only use for it ~US$70 http://www.symantec.com/home_homeoffice/products/overview.jsp?pcid=sp&pvid=pm80.

There are free alternatives but none that I can vouch for as I have never used them - this link takes you to what looks like a fairly comprehensive list of them:

Is there a reason you need to split your single disk into multiple partitions? (being nosy..)

Cheers

Nick

Hi Nick.
No, there's no reason for it, it's just that I thought it was something that had to done, and I forgot when I did the re-install..I realise now though, that when I do a defrag, it will have to do 180gb. But if you say it doesn't matter, then I'm happy with that......Thanks a bunch ...Dai
