I have a Riccar Reliant 505 sewing machine, it is 34 years old and has been very faithful, still has everything I need on it.
However, there is a little square hollow metal piece (clamp) which basically holds the needle onto the sewing bar and this has now has a split in it. This results in the clamp pulling apart and the needle falling out. I have managed to do temporary repair on it with duck tape, but eventually it does pull apart again.

I wonder if anyone knows if you can still get spare parts for this machine - even maybe secondhand. - or perhaps someone has one they are getting rid of!!??
I have looked on internet, found one part which looks similar, but not fotr that machine, so not sure it would be okay.

I have taken a pic of it, and put it on my computer, copied it and tried to paste it in here - won't let me!
