I have an old coal furnace that was converted to gas. The pilot light is on and it kicks on and keeps the house warm, but in order for it to continue to work I have to run the blower in manual position. If I turn the blower to auto the heat kicks on but after it kicks off it never comes on again. Any suggestions? I'm trying to squeeze a couple more months out of it until February when I'm going to get a new furnace.

if the furnace is the same way here in the US. it sounds like the fan limit switch.
