Hi,
I've managed to scrape my neighbours car bumper Embarassed whilst manoevering out of a tight parking space, it's a black shiny colour coded one. It's not cracked, just scraped. Don't want to do insurance claim as it's nothing much (wouldn't bother me!). Can someone give me an idea of the options available to fix it.
thanks,
Sarah

If its not a deep scratch ie: not broken the paint then it might polish out with a rubbing compound.
if its just left paint from your car on his bumper then try a good rubbing compound such as farcela g3, which is like t-cut but a bit more heavy duty. a small tub is about £8 and mostly available from car paint suppliers.
If it has damaged the paint then a "smart" repair can be done by one of the many mobile repairers that are around. prob looking at about £60 - £80 as apposed to about £150 - £200 to get the whole bumper respayed.
