Still not divorced after 2 attempts ???????????????

I have employed two firms over a period of ten years, both have said that they have timed out and no longer wish to proceed. My wife has not replied to any letters and the court baliff as tried to serve papers and that as far as i have got. I still do not know if she has been served, or wether the court has had the applation logged. I was under the impression after three years with no contact and that my wife having had a baby with another guy, that my divorce would just be a matter of course. I have tried the Electrol roll, various can't find, Genes reunited friends re united etc but cannot find a tace of my children, Got their births records, got our marriage records but no schools no nothing could this be the problem ?
