Hi,

I removed a rad to allow for some plastering to be done. As soon as I did the heating stopped working. Rang a plumber who said to check the pressure guage. Sure enough its down to zero more or less. He said to increase it I had to refill the boiler and directed me to a flexible pipe under the boiler. Located such a pipe (silver) which links two copper pipes (one smaller bore than the other) - ok so far - but now I've twiddled and turned eveything that looks like it could be twiddled or turned and - nothing. What should I be looking for?

Any advice gratefully received

Thanks

Chris

There should be a little blue or red handle which you turn on.

But first the flexible hose should be connected.

A photo would help to id the right part.

What boiler make and model is it.
