Someone please help.
As of yesterday I do not have any hot water from any of the three how water taps in my house (bathroom upstairs, kitchen and utility room downstairs).
The problem started when I tried to run a bath, the water supply seemed to stop after a few minutes, my wife had run a bath 1/2 hr before this without any problems. Now when a tap is turned on water trickles for a moment then stops.
Last month we had a new washing machine installed and this only feeds off the cold water supply - don't know if this has any bearing on the matter at all.

Any idea's / solutions greatly appreciated.

Steve

You have an air lock, could be the tank feed to the cylinder or the hot pipe to the taps. Cool

First chect the ballvalve is ok in the storage tank and the water is at the right level.

Second you need to clear the air lock, by forcing mains pressure up the hot pipe, to do this we would link across two taps with a hose pipe and turn them both on (hot tap first ) and after a minute or so it should clear.

Don't forget to let us know how you get on.
