My bathroom has recently started smelling of urine all the time. I have scrubbed down every inch of the area around the toilet, but the smell does not go away.... it is actually getting worse. What would cause this? (I do have a rather cracked tile floor... , but I don't smell anything in the basement below the bathroom)

If your that bad a shot perhaps you should try a bucket of strong disinfectant.

Check the wax ring between the stool and floor. If it's shot, you may be leaking toilet waste water to the floor.
