|
|
| Currently I moved in to a new house. I'm turning the garage into a gym/office and installing various eletrical equipment such as treadmill, heater, computer, and so on. I was told that the garage does not have a a breaker. And the electrical power comes from the house. The wiring is just two small electrical wires that carry the electrical current from house to garage. My question is do I have enough electrical power to power the garage. If not how can I check and if evasive requirements are required how much will it cost me?????? |

Costs obviously vary enormously your side of the pond compared to ours but when I read your question my first thought was how long is a piece of string.
You ask if you have enough power but nowhere do you list either the current consumption of the various items nor do you comment on the actual rating of the garage supply. You just refer to two small elecrtical wires. Thick, thin, big and small are relative. Actual size is what matters.
How much you ask to supply sufficient power to meet your undisclosed requirements. You make no mention of distance between garage and house supply, underground or overhead.
You need to contact a local registered electrician in your area and arange a site visit and then obtain estimates.
