scruff,
it is an en-suite bathroom macerator so it is dealing with w.c. shower and basin. I`m not sure what you mean in the second part of you reply but if you mean rainwater then it is going thru the same downpipe

scruff,
it`s dealing with w.c., shower and basin. I`m not sure where the surface water drains to but the soil pipe for the other toilets is on the opposite side of the house.

Most areas have a seperate surface water drain which can run into the waterways untreated, there is heavy penalties for poluting this system.
Lift the inspection cover on the drain and run some coloured water down the pipe to see if it connects to the main drain, if not then its either a soakaway into your garden or a surface water drain, and must be removed.
The other problem will be smell.
