Is it the replacement bulbs that continue to blow or are the old ones going in quick succession? Which way up are the bulbs - from ceiling or in table lamps?
The second question is because lamps will often not last quite so long in table lights as suspended from ceiling.
More importantly what brand of bulbs are you using? The cheap ones do NOT last as long as quality bulbs. I once did some maintenance work in an old persons home and they insisted on cheap everything. Often the bulbs lasted only a week or so.
Get your bulbs from an electrical shop branded ones guaranteed to last 1000 hours. You can get bulbs with a guaranteed life of 3000 hours, bit more expensive.
Mark bulbs when you replace them with the date. You might be surprised just how long the do last.

| The above suggestions sound good. But if it mainly one fixture, could be a bad switch, light fixture, or a loose wire connection causing arcing. If it is all over the house, have the incoming power checked. |
