Hi
I have a Combi Gas Boiler which heats my water. However, when I turn on the kitchen hot tap and the boiler kicks in, there is a clunk sound and the water stops running.
Sometimes you can just turn the top on a little more or you can turn it off and then back on again and it runs fine. But now, more often than not the pressure has totally gone and you wont get any hot water for a while - not even a dribble out of the tap - absolutely nothing.
The strange thing is it only happens in the kitchen (the boiler is also in the kitchen (dont know if this matters), and not the 2 upstairs bathrooms.
Im not sure if this is a boiler problem or a plumbing problem and am hoping you might be able to give me some guidance !
Thanks |

| If it only happens with one tap I woult think it more than likley that tap is in need of an overhaul/replacement washer. |

| Have a look under the sink for an isolating valve, if you have one check which way the arrow is pointing. towards the tap or away |
