Hi, I live in a typical Victorian tenement building in ground floor flat at rear of building. 2 floors above me. Recent problem that's happened 3 times now but at least a week between each time. Can only describe it as a kind of 'reflux' in the toilet. I hear a 'whooshing' noise and the water that's sitting in the toilet is sprayed out. Appears to be nothing whatsoever to do with cistern. It's only the water already sitting in the bowl that's affected. Prior to this have noticed that on occasion after flushing the loo, there can be a sort of knocking sound in the pipes. I've also heard it elsewhere in the building so I think everyone in the tenement has experienced it at times after flushing their loos. Any thoughts/suggestions would be very welcome!!

Thank you

Lucy
