I'm looking to fit an illuminated mirror (lights in the mirror) in a bedroom. These mirrors are normally fitted in bathrooms, so are normally directly wired in as you naturally can't use sockets in the bathroom.

As I am using this outside the bathroom, will it work OK just by adding a normal plug and plugging directly into a normal socket?

Thanks for any help.
