Hello
This may seem a little obtuse but my step-daughter will be starting secondary school later this year and obviously will require a uniform. The school she is going to has stated that we MUST purchase the uniform from the supplier of their choice. I was under the impression that this practice had been stopped and that we are free to purchase from anyone who can supply us, is this not the case? The uniform is certainly not cheap and this seems to fly in the face of consumer choice and fair competition. Any info appreciated.
Cheers. |

Haven't a clue whether it's legal or not, probably not, but two things come to mind.
I assume from your comments it's in the rules which you agreed too subject to them excepting her.
More importantly, I thing making a stand could alienate her with the teachers. |
