Hi All,

My bath is emitting a bad smell through the overflow when the basin is emptied.
This has only been an issue for the last 4 months. My bath is slow when emptying lately.

My bath is tiled in so no access.

What I thought was this: The bath could do with some acid cleaner poured down as it's blocked, but if the bath trap is blocked, when the basin empties the pressure is sucking water from the bath trap, hence the smell?
If I empty the bath & basin at the same time it practically stops.

Does anybody think that the cleaner will sort this problem out? If not please advise?

Any help or advice greatly appretiated.
