The hot water from the mixer tap in the kitchen has recently reduced to a trickle. There are two other hot taps down stairs and they are both OK. Have replaced the tap insert thinking it might be a fault valve - but no success.

Check to see if the hot supply has a check valve fitted. If it has then this could have become stuck.

Have a look on the end of the spout as well there maybe an aerator/filter which unscrews.
