| Hi can you please tell me what tax week number we should be on when I get my wage on Friday as work are saying we should be on week 53 but we are sure we should be on week 52 can you please help me thanks |

It could be both
It depends if you started on the 2nd or the 9th. For example we started on the 9th so there was 52 Mondays in the year, but 53 last year.
This year will start on the 7th being the first Monday.

| yes i do keep my wage slips but i was off sick the week before easter and they are saying i dont have any tax due back but if we on week 53 then thats last years tax not the new year so how come i dont have any tax back thanks |

| You pay tax on your earnings, if you didn't work for one week, then you wouldn't pay tax for that week, it certainly won't alter your tax code, which would entitle you to a refund. |
