My daughters and husbands roof ( 1930 built house) has tiles but with no felt underneath it, is there anything they can put on rafters or otherwise in the loft which will help with keeping rain out and help insulation ? any advice on what to do would be most appreciated.

If you are getting water in then it needs to be tackled from above, otherwise the rafters will rot, and very quickly they will need a new roof.

There used to be something they covered slate roofs with, but I'm going back many years now.

I'll see what I can find out, what tiles are they
