Any one any clues about Beko upright freezers.
Mine has stopped freezing (Red warning light on).
I have defrosted, replaced the thermostat, but still no joy. The condenser sounds like it is running. The top of the freezer got a little frosty, but the lower cooling shelves stayed warm. Any ideas, or is it to be condemned. I rang 1 engineer who suggested the dump was the best place for it!!! but it is only 3 years old.

Unfortunatly he is probably right.

Could be an internal blockage or leakage of refrigerant. Might be worth asking another for a price but these days mass produced goods can be manufactured cheaper than the cost of repairs.
