My light won't turn off.

The light in my bathroom will not turn off. I tried the off switch several times but it still stayed on. I finally had to unscrew the light bulb to turn off the light but I still want to know why the on/off switch is not working. Does anyone know the cause of this?

Have the switch contacts welded themselves together?
Try changing the switch.

Switches are mechanical devices and sometimes just go bad... try what Vince suggests, replacing the switch, and see if that fixes it.
