| We have a combination boiler dowstairs. All the radiators come on with the timer except for one (downstairs - nearest the boiler). I dont ever recall this radiator working as it is in a hallway that is used little. I would now like this to be on and have turned the thermostat knob on the left of the radiator to on but it will not come on. I have felt the pipes from a junction (off the boiler) and they are hot prior to this junction and cold after - leading to the radiator - these pipes stop at this radiadtor n.b. at the junction the 'hot' pipes go upstairs. |

A couple of things to try:
1). bleed the radiator to remove any air
2). remove the "head" of the thermostatic radiator valve to expose the pin and check the pin moves (albeit quite stiff). Sometimes a couple of light taps on the pin will free it and the radiator will start to heat. |
