Hi there, I've just recently had the ceilings in my flat plastered and the lights were taken down in order to do this. The plasterer put them back up and now the light in the only room that he didn't touch (the bedroom) is not working! I've had someone with a fair bit of electrical experience look at it and it seems that there is no power flowing through the 2nd black cable in one of the lights in another room. Does this mean that the power is not being carried to the bedroom light? The bedroom light only has 1 black cable instead of 2- does that mean it's the last in the circuit, or wired in a different way? Sorry I don't have much experience in this kind of thing and just want to know a bit about it before i go calling out an electrician...
All advice greatly appreciated!

The lighting circuit is daisy chained from the fusebox so you wil need to go to the light before the one that is not working. Normally you will find a loose connection or a snapped conductor.
