Hi, i would like advice concerning what i should do concerning my debt collector, i have a loan out with provident and recently my collector came round informing me that she had been suspended, i pay her fortnightly and seeminly she's been putting it through as weekly as she says she earns more commission that way Confused She asked me if i would back her up on this which i agreed to do and she assured me that she hasn't ripped me off but took my book away. She also let me keep my last payment and said it had already been put through anyway and came back a couple of days later and gave me a weeks money to pay them as they were coming for a payment. As i don't know the way it works i'm totally confused, if she hasn't been ripping me off then why give me money to pay and if she gets more for doing it weekly then why not just ask me to pay it weekly instead Confused
Anyway as i've been confused and concerned that maybe i've been getting done, i discussed this with a different collector not knowing that her husband was a manager and so have accidently stuck her in. My concern now is, how will i know if i've been getting done as i can't see them coming and telling me incase i refuse to pay anymore. Infact does this not make the whole account void now anyway? I don't want to get her in to trouble but i also want to make sure i've not been getting ripped off. Also, can i refuse to pay anymore or what, where do i stand?
Hope you can help me out with this, thanx..
