why does water travel up the bath overflow
and dribble into the bath ? nothing in u bend
live in block of flats if that helps tia |

Is the plug in? If not then that would defy the laws of physics... What floor are you?
Is the overflow connected to another waste system? |

There's a fiiting which replaces the bath overflow with a combination one, your WC ballvalve is in need of attention.

plug not usually in ,but i did last night
and collected one inch of water by the morning
i live on the gound floor
