Mondeo 2002 Auto.
Can anyone suggest a solution to the problem with the button on the selector lever. This button is pressed in (at the same time as the brake pedal is pressed) in order to move the selector from Park into Drive. In this case ocasionally the button jams and cannot be pressed in.

There dos n't appear to be any easy access to the mechanisum operated by the button.

What is the best way to solve this problem?
