I'm 37 and have recently found myself on the scrapheap after almost 20 years in IT.

Time to change careers but at my age a 'modern appenticeship' is not an option. So, can anyone advise me as to the best training to work for.

I can afford a year out for full-time training and am happy to compete with the spotty kids salary-wise - I just need to know the best approach to take.

Any advice gratefully recieved.
