a friend of mine has been divorced for approx ten years now and has paid the mortgage from then to date and all the insurances that go with the property
i heard rumour that there was a law been passed that if a partner that leaves the home and does not pay anything towards the mortgage for a number of years that they are not entitled to the house or anything from it and that the house should be signed over to the person who has
so does anybody know if said law has been passed and how does my friend go about to try sort it out
