Hi,
Before I inadvertently kill myself, I have a question. I plan to run several DC power supplies for an animated display off a power strip. I want the out side to look good so I bought a filter (tri-mag A6-12S10E) that mounts on the outside of the display in order to hide the power strip. I want to cut the plug off the end of the power strip and attach it to the filter. The filter has three prongs, two insulated. The power strip has three wires; one black, white, and green. I'm thinking then I can just plug into the AC wall socket via the filter, in essence, replacing the power strip plug with the filter. Is there any danger in doing this? Thanks for your help.
Darrell
