Hi,

I am writing in case you may be able to offer me a solution to my problem. I recently installed a bath and the 22mm vertical cold pipe did not quite run true to the new tap on the bath but I managed to do it up as tight as I could. It seemed OK for a couple of months but has now developed a very slow drip (approx 3 drips per hour). I can't seem to do it up any more with the wrench as it is very difficult to access the nut. I know if I undo it, I'll never manage to get the nut back on again as it took ages the first time due to the misalignment. Temporarily, I have wrapped a cloth around it and this seems to last about a month before it is soaked and then this starts to drip. Any ideas other than pulling the bath etc back out which would be a real nightmare? Any guidance appreciated.

Thanks, Deke.

Why not cut the pipe off and re-connect with a flexible tap connector.

thescruff. Cool
