I have a concrete fondation and this procedure was used by a plumber in the recent past. By somehow switching the cold and hot lines at the water heater, and turning up the thermostat, the leak "super heated" the floor..... leak found. I was not home to see how he did it. How is this done? Thanks in advance for the help!!

Apart from being bloody dangerous, I don't believe a word of it.

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT.

You could only pressure test with a test bucket by capping the ends.
