| My tub drips from the faucet. I believe it is from the hot water knob. I was told by a plumber today that he could rebuild it for $300.00 or put in a new complete faucet for $900.00. Both of those figures seem really high I mean it is only dripping. He told me that if I didn't replace it that eventually it would fail and I could have more problems. I have no idea, I would just like it to stop dripping. Any ideas? The house was built 1960. Thank you. |

This side the pond that would be expensive, probably only the packing gland about an hours work.
Get another quote and if you have the means email me a jpeg of the tap.
