Doing some remodel work & I need to move the location of the service in the bathroom. Looks like 5/8" copper tubing encased in a 4" thick concrete slab. How big a treat am I in for? What's the best way to break them out of the slab for about 3' without destroying the tubing?

Thanks - T

Burying potable water pipes in concrete contravenes water board regulation, they should be in a purpose made duct.

Having said that yours are and exposing them without damage is unlikely, there is also a good chance the pipes will be pitted and badly worn.

Consider rerouting in plastic.
