I washed two loads of clothes this morning and took a hot shower and there is plenty of hot water but I noticed when I was in the room where the hot water tank is (electric) that it was making a soft whistling noise which seems to come from the valve on top. Is this okay since I still have plenty of hot water and no leaking? Do I need to be worried |

If its an unvented cylinder then it should be checked over by a qualified plumber.
Tell us more about the valve a type of cylinder.
Is there a pip[e going to outside thats dripping.
