I LOST THE CHARGER TO MY PORTABLE LANTERN (JML 2999)WHICH IS POWERED BY A 6V LEAD BATTERY. I HAVE A GENERIC CHARGER (4.5-12V/350mA). SHOULD THAT BE OK TO USE? WHAT VOLTAGE SHOULD I SET IT TO. (I SUBMITTED THIS QUESTION TO THE COMPANY, BUT RECEIVED NO ANSWER).

Firstly dont use caps lock as it is seen as shouting.
You say you have lost the charger, but was it just the power supply and the charging circuit is in the lantern?
