Very Happy Hi. I'm in first year of running a boarding cattery and small animal hotel. I need to know if my set up costs ie...building and furnishing all the cat enclosures, decoration, renovation of building etc can be claimed back in tax and how do I know if I can claim back 25% or 40%. I am not VAT registered and not earning enough to pay VAT. I am a sole trader and have no employees. Am I expecting too much in thinking that I can sort my tax out myself. Also what column do I record my own national insurance contributions in. Am I the employee in this case or not. I really do not have a clue what I am doing...lol Crying or Very sad
