I currently have an double outside socket, both sockets are currently being used for a pond pump and also a pond filter. What I would like to do is free up one of the sockets by joining both the pump cable and filter cable together. Would really appreciate if somebody could advise.
Many thanks in advance. |

no problem with that, have done it on my own pond. Just make sure it is still water tight and cables are secure.

Many thanks for the reply. Glad they can be joined safely. Could you please advise on how to actaully connect the cables, do I need to use some form of junction box and does it have to have a certain rating for outdoor/undersoil installation.
Thanks in advance. |

Go to you local electrical wholesalers and ask for a resin joint kit for the size of cables you have.
Once this is fitted it can be put under ground, in the pond or left on the surface.
