Free gifts, with magazines etc, which are marked not for resale - what does this actually mean? Can you sell the free item on e-bay for example? Does it only stand for a limited time? some items become collectors items for example the nat west piggy banks?

My opinion of not for re-sale (retail) is it cannot be sold over the counter, some special offers for example chrisps come in bags of say 10 and cannot be sold seperately, cans of coke are another example when they come in bulk packs.

Once it is gifted to you, you can do what you like with it.

Hope that helps.
