I have a 30a 120v service trailer (RV). I need to make an extension cord to plug this into the house. We plan to use the 20a dedicated outlet for the washing machine. I do realize I probably will not be able to use the air conditioner. We really only need to plug it in when we are getting it ready or returning for/from a trip (it is stored at a lot) The length is 100 ft. What is the recommend AWG for this length?
Thanks

Overcurrent protection shall not exceed 30A for 10AWG copper wire (240.4D National Electric Code) I would suggest that you go to an RV store like Camping World and look to see what they have to offer. Our camper came with a plug attached to it to use... we purchased an adapter to fit it to our home outlet... check with a professional RV place and they can tell you what would be your best option.
