I just got a used HausfeldCampbell Airless spray unit. I have disassembled the gun to clean it. I can't figure out how the long tube screen is fastened in the handle...and see there is paint(its still soft but is stuck to the screen). I would like to pull it out to clean it. ..rather than poke a tooth pick up there to scrape off the surface half assed.
Right now it is sitting in a can of water with TSP. Does anything dissolve the paint (which I am gonna hazard a guess as being latex)?? Appreciate any info you might have. Thanks muchly. Question
